"What's taking Ben so long?" I asked Rook. He shrugged his shoulders. "I cannot imagine him being this late. It makes me somewhat glad I drove you here with me," Rook said. I smiled. "Yea, it's nice to talk to someone who isn't my brother," I said. The elevator door opened and Ben walked out, smoothie in hand. "Why am I not surprised?" I asked.

"Sorry I'm late," Ben said. We glared at him. "You're not on your own time anymore, Ben," Grandpa Max scolded. "You can't keep your partners waiting." Ben sighed and walked over to us. "Let's go. I parked over there," Ben said, pointing at his car. I looked at Rook and shook my head. "We shall take mine," Rook said. Ben sneered at the Proto-TRUK. "Wow, I bet the girls all start screaming and fainting when they see this rolling by," Ben said sarcastically.

"Girls are not afraid of my truck," Rook said. "But they probably should be." The Proto-TRUK turned into a space ship, wowing both me and Ben. "Sometimes, you're actually pretty awesome," Ben said. "SOMETIMES."

I sat middle to both of them. "I'm not familiar with human emotional cues, but are you angry with me, Ben?" Rook asked. Ben shook his head. "Just bored. Recently, I've felt like more of a tour guide than a superhero. If you look to your right, you'll see a city. To your left, water. Careful, it's wet," Ben said.

"Water is wet. I'm aware of that," Rook remarked jokingly. Ben chuckled. ""Sorry I left you two waiting. I just didn't want to change how I worked. I've saved the universe a billion times, at least!" Ben said.

"And that is why I am eager to work with you and Dawn. I hope that you live up to the legends," Rook said. Ben jumped. "There are legends?!" Ben asked. Rook nodded. "But they can't all be true. For instance, Alien X, he is just a rumor a fan started on the extronet." Ben laughed. "Alien X is real. Dawn's seen him," Ben said.

"Really?! Can I see him too?" Rook asked. Ben shook his head. "It's not a good idea. Dawn can explain it to you later," Ben said. Rook sighed. "Just as I thought," Rook sighed.

"Show me a little heroing to do, and I'll show you if I live up to the legends!" Ben said. There were emergencies, but... "Some heroing so far. At least the world is safe from car eating aliens," Ben said. He saw me holding one. "Dawn, put him back," Ben said. "Oh look! Some normal guy. Maybe we should arrest him for jaywalking."

"His phone should be able to be powered here on Earth. Is that normal?" Rook asked. Ben and I looked closer. "No, it's not normal," Ben said. We began to follow him. He tried shooting at us, but we dodged every blast. "Dawn, hang on tight," Rook said as we drove after him. I grabbed onto Rook as he sped up after him in the truck's ship mode.

We caught up to the crook's vehicle, which had popped tires. Rook managed to pounce on him and subdue him. "What is your DEAL?! I wasn't doing anything!" the crook asked.

"Except shooting at a plumber," Rook said to him. Ben walked up to us. "And a superhero!" Ben snarled. Ben checked his equipment. "Alien blaster, communicator. Tell me you work for someone big and bad so that I can pummel you to the ground!" Ben said. The crook started laughing. "You would last a second against my boss!" he said. We heard a pounding sound come from his car. "This doesn't sound like a typical combustion engine," Rook said.

"Maybe it's a hybrid," Ben said. The engine had a Nosedeenian trapped in it as a power source. "A Megawhatt?" Ben asked. I smiled as I tried to pick it up. "What a cutie!!!" I shouted. It jolted past me to the crook, who had another Nosedeenian. The two of them started attacking their captor, shocking him with small jolts of electricity. "I have never faced a Nosedeenian," Rook said. "What do you advise?"

"Don't let them shock you," Ben said. They shocked me and Rook for a bit before flying off, with Ben following as... Clockwork? "Ben, are you okay?" Rook asked as we caught up to him. "It's a miracle they couldn't outrun a Chronosapien."

"I don't think they were trying to run away. I think they wanted us to follow them," Ben said. "Oh, and if you see my face turn green, STEP BACK." We walked into the warehouse the Nosedeenians led us to to see an entire colony trapped in a giant machine. "They weren't just playing with us," I said in shock. "Those Nosedeenians need our help."

We hid behind a few crates as a goon caught the two Nosedeenians that led us here. "We need to do something soon if you know what I mean," Ben said. However, we were caught in an electrically generated forcefield. "You better have a good reason for interrupting my workout!" Fistrick, the boss, said. "Spies, in my house of business?!"

"Didn't see a sign out front. It seems you don't WANT people to know your business," Ben said, distracting him from Rook starting up our ticket out of the forcefield.

"Alien tech doesn't just fall off a truck!" Fistrick said.

"And I don't think whoever made it is too happy about it going missing." Fistrick laughed. "He doesn't care anymore...bro." Ben's eyes widened. "You steal alien tech and use hostages to charge it!!!" Ben shouted.

"One alien makes, another charges it, and I get the profit," Fistrick said. He then saw Rook turn on the scrambler, freeing us. "What is that?"

The goons were nothing, but Fistrick in a Mecha-Suit on the other hand... "Ben... DO SOMETHING!!!" I shouted. He fiddled with the Omnitrix, turning into a walking asteroid. "Cool..." I said. Ben forced him back with gravity powers, holding him down while Rook tried to free the Nosedeenians. "Yea, Rook!!!" Ben said, accidentally tossing them in the air. "Focus your gravity lower!" Rook yowled.

As soon as Ben put the back down, though, Rook was blasted off the back of Fistrick's Mecha. "ROOK!!!" I screamed. He felt so limp and lifeless. "YOU!" I shouted, glaring at Fistrick. I couldn't remember those next few seconds, but I was told I was glowing red and attacked mercilessly before being knocked out myself. Once I did come too, Rook and I saved Ben with the crane nearby.

"Ben, we need to separate the Megawhatts from the suit! Keep him still so that I can get a clear shot," Rook said. With that, Rook managed to use skills in archery to free the Nosedeenians that were trapped while Ben handled Fistrick. "That was not easy," Rook said. Ben smiled as he changed back. "It never is."

We watched as the plumbers began to gather the remaining Nosedeenians, who had a job of helping to power part of Undertown. "Dawn! Put that Megawhatt down!" Ben said.

"Why, he's so cute!" I said. ZAP!!! I fell over, letting go of the Nosedeenian. "You're welcome..." I said, slightly dizzy. Ben shook his head as he got me into the Proto-TRUK. "The Tennyson legends end with a blended drink," Rook said.

"Smoothies? Nah, it's a day time thing. At night, it's chili fries. Besides, Dawn's hair is pretty singed," Ben said. Rook groaned as we began to drive off.
